Chris Connors, Jr. is the driving force behind the organization and currently fills the Chairman/President of the Board and Executive Director role. Chris studied Business Administration with a minor in Economics at Salve Regina University. He previously served as the Director of Alumni Relations and Community Outreach at Transcend Recovery Community, a leading behavioral healthcare company for adults wrestling with addiction, substance abuse, mental health, and dual-diagnosis conditions. Chris was recruited and hired to develop the alumni department, which now has over several thousand members, and provides virtual and in-person workshops, retreats, and networking events to maintain sobriety and provide empowerment on personal and professional development goals. In addition to the alumni community, Chris is charged with business development and meets with organizations to discuss partnership strategies. Throughout Chris' tenure, he has developed a comprehensive network of personal and professional contacts with key addiction community leaders. Before Transcend, Chris worked in the marketing, packaging, and distribution sector and had leadership roles in the development and go-to-market sales strategy for two Colorado-based start-up organizations. Chris' personal and professional background will be instrumental in the development, marketing, and branding of Cycle for Recovery as well as having a significant impact on fundraising activities.
